Monitor the Batang Toru Hydro Power Project, a part of 35,000 MW


The ESDM Ministry's Director General of Electricity, Rida Mulyana, on Saturday (3/16), reviewed the progress of the construction of the Batang Toru Hydroelectric Power Plant (PLTA). The power plant located in Sipirok Village, South Tapanuli Regency, North Sumatra has a capacity of 510 MW (4x127.5 MW) and is one of the projects to accelerate 35,000 MW electricity generation.

Riyan's Story Distributes Solar Lights at Mappi Papua


Not an easy trip to distribute Energy-Saving Solar Lights (LTSHE) to the inland of Papua. Landscapes and difficult terrain are still obstacles. Sometimes to distribute LTSHE, it takes more than 12 hours using a speed boat to reach the destination. However, this obstacle did not discourage Riyan Suhendra's enthusiasm for distributing LTSHE to villages in need.
Riyan is one of the LTSHE distributors who works in Mappi Regency, Papua Province.

Public Street Lighting Solar Power for 1,500 km by the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources


In order to provide energy access and encourage the use of renewable energy in Indonesia, the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources through the Directorate General of New Renewable Energy and Energy Conservation (EBTKE) in the last three years (2016-2018) has built Public Street lighting -Solar Power (PJU-TS) in 30,000 road lighting points along 1,500 km in 200 districts / cities throughout Indonesia financed by the State Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources.

SIDOARJO - ESDM Minister Ignasius Jonan, last Friday (1/3) inaugurated a solar power public stree lighting infrastructure in Sidoarjo Regency, East Java. The inauguration of this energy infrastructure shows the Government's commitment so that the community can benefit directly from the State Budget (APBN), which in the long run can strengthen the people's economy. "This is people's funds. We (the Government) commit the citizens of Sidoarjo to be more prosperous in the future", said the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources at Al Hikmah Mosque Perum Tas 2, Kalisampurno Village, Tanggulangin, Sidoarjo Regency.
