JAKARTA - In a Working Meeting with Commission VII of the House of Representatives (DPR), Tuesday (5/6), Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) Ignasius Jonan conveyed the Basic Assumption of ESDM Sector proposed in the Draft of State Budget (RAPBN) 2019.

The ESDM Minister proposed that the Indonesian Crude Price (ICP) assumption in 2019 amounts to USD 60-70 per barrel. According to Jonan, the fundamental factors that the recovery of global economic growth will affect the increase in energy demand including world crude oil that will affect oil prices 2019.


"The realization in May 2018 is USD 65,8 per barrel.  In 2019 we propose USD 60-70 per barrel.It is indeed a challenge of discussion ICP is a lot of factors outside of economic factor, supply / demand, then there is (influence from) activities in the Korean Peninsula, Iran, and others, "said Jonan at the Working Meeting led by Chairman of Commission VII Gus Irawan Pasaribu it.


The ESDM Minister also submitted the proposed oil and gas lifting of 2019 of 1,932 to 2,105 thousand BOEPD (Barrels of Oil Equivalent Per Day), consisting of oil lifting 722-805 thousand BOPD (Barrels of Oil Per Day), and natural gas lifting 1.210-1.300 thousand BOEPD(Barrels of Oil Equivalent Per Day). For Cost Recovery is proposed for USD 10-11 billion.


Meanwhile, the amount of electricity subsidy is proposed at Rp 53.96-58.89 trillion. The fixed subsidy of diesel oil, which was originally proposed Rp 1,500 per liter, in the conclusion of Working Meeting, Commission VII DPR added that the subsidy is between Rp 1,500 to Rp 2,000 per liter.


The volume of Fuel Oil (BBM) subsidized by 16.76-17.18 million KL, consisting of kerosene as much as 0.59-0.65 million KL and diesel oil 16.17-16.53 million KL. While the volume of subsidized Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) is 3 kg, which is 6.825 to 6.978 million metric tons, or it is assumed to increase from 2018 due to the expansion of 3 kg LPG in Eastern Indonesia.
