Director General of New Energy, Renewable and Energy Conservation(EBTKE) , Rida Mulyana and Director General of Electricity, Andi Noorsaman Someng, and Director of East Java, Bali and Nusa Tenggara Development, Djoko Abu Manan explained End of Year Performance 2017 and Outlook 2018 Electricity Subsector EBTKE at the office of the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources , Wednesday (10/1/18).

In his presentation, the Director General of Electricity, Andi Noorsaman revealed that as of early 2018 (December 31, 2017), the electrification ratio of electricity has reached 94.91% (above the target of 2017). But for the installed capacity of the plant reaches 61 GW, a little slip from the target set in 2017 that is equal to 62 GW.


"Then, the 35 GW Program Status Progress at the end of November 2017 is the implementation of the COD program of 1061 MW (3%), then committed and ongoing it is 82% consisting of construction 16,992 MW, PPA which has signed a contract of sale but not yet 12.726 MW of construction, and at the procurement stage of 2,790 MW. Planning balanced with procurement is 2228 MW "said Andy.


Meanwhile, Director General of Renewable Energy and Energy Conservation, Rida Mulyana explains in several explanations such as progress of EBT contract which increase from year to year, including in 2017 has signed 68 PPA with total capacity raised to 1207 MW and current status this is from 68 PPA signed, there are 55 that still proceed to get FC (Financial Closing). PPA that already get FC but has not started the construction of 5 units, and who has started the construction of 68 that as many as 8 units.


The LTSHE (Energy Saving Solar Lamp) program is targeted for completion within 2 years (2017-2018). 2018 is targeted 80,000 Head of Family (KK), this number increased 2 times compared to 2017 target. "A total of 176,000 LTSHE units planned to be distributed in this year", said Rida.


In 2018, LTSHE is divided into 15 procurement packages in which 2 packages are already auctioned and 13 other packages will be auctioned in this week. In his presentation, the Director General of EBTKE, Rida Mulyana confirmed that the LTSHE Program is a Temporary (Temporary) Program and the Government requests the providers to ensure that the produced LTSHE can continue light on for 3 years. After 3 years, LISSA (Village Electricity) program is expected enter to areas that they are still using LTSHE. (AM)
